Getting Chilly? Why Not Read?

B.W. Ginsburg

In many areas, the weather is starting to get on the chilly side. As many readers know, one of the best things to do as the cold months approach is to curl on the couch or in bed under the blankets with a nice hot beverage and a book. So why not give yourself the gift of both comfort and reading by purchasing my newly published book, Rest in Piece, available in the Amazon Kindle store? For the weather is frightful, but reading is so delightful!

If you have any questions about the book in general or how to purchase, please don’t hesitate to ask! Thank you to everyone who supports my writing! If you’d like to read a review written about Rest in Piece, click here.

July TV Show Photo Challenge – July 20th

Okay so for today’s challenge, I’m kind of doing things in reverse. Instead of a TV show that was adapted into a movie, I’m doing a movie that was adapted into a TV show! I’ve seen both the movie and the show and like them both. However, I have to say that I think I actually prefer the TV show!

July TV Show Photo Challenge – July 19th

Today’s challenge is a little tricky. My favorite sitcom is actually the same as my favorite TV show (Friends). Since I’ve already talked about Friends several times, I’ve decided to choose another great sitcom – Mad About You!

July TV Show Photo Challenge – July 18th

There have been a lot of great guest star appearances in shows, but I’m going to say that my favorite was when Jon Lovitz was in Friends! He was in Friends twice and both times he cracked me up. Runner up goes to Danny Devito who was also in an episode of Friends!

July TV Show Photo Challenge – July 17th

Today’s challenge is to pick a favorite TV animal. This one is so easy for me to pick! It’s Eddie (Moose, Enzo) from Frasier! He’s so cute and he’s an amazing actor (even if he’s a dog!).

July TV Show Photo Challenge – July 16th

Okay, so technically this challenge is a tie. The two shows I’ve watched with the most seasons are Frasier and Supernatural. Supernatural is technically going to eventually have 12 seasons total, but has only had 11 so far. Frasier also had 11 seasons and I’ve both seen them all and own them all. I’ve seen all 11 seasons of Supernatural (and will watch the 12th!) but only own 1 season so far! So for today’s challenge, I’ve chosen Frasier!

July TV Show Photo Challenge – July 2nd

Today’s challenge was actually quite difficult! I love Friends so much and to pick a favorite season was not easy. However, after careful consideration, I’ve chosen season 7! I was just about to take a picture of the DVD when my phone died, so I’ll have to settle for pictures from Google Images!

Making A Plan

So where I live, the weather is beginning to get cooler. With cooler weather, many of us will probably find it a little more difficult to exercise and practice facing our fears outdoors. However, it is still important to get outside and practice, especially if our anxiety gets worse when we go outside.

So, what do we need to do? My therapist asked me this and honestly, I wasn’t sure. To say that I now know how I will handle this would be a lie. I admit, that as difficult as it is to sometimes get myself motivated enough to go outside and practice when it’s warmer out, it’s even harder to do when it isn’t as warm. The thing is though, that none of us can really afford to slack off and allow our anxiety to take over.

We need to make a plan. My plans so far involve practicing and exercising more inside than I usually do, trying to walk at least a little outside, and trying to go to more places like restaurants, etc.

Doing things in the fall and winter to work on getting through our anxiety may seem a bit more challenging, but it’s still something we need to work on. I wish you all the best and if anyone has any advice on how to practice and exercise outside during the cooler months, please let me know. Thanks!
