Drawing From Experience

B.W. Ginsburg

Hey everybody!

As many of you may already know, I am currently working on writing my third book. While the first two were fictional and didn’t hold much truth to them in terms of the plot, there will be some drawing from my own experiences for my next novel.

One of the central themes in my next novel will be mental health – more specifically, anxiety. Since this is a main topic, I will be using some of my own experiences with anxiety to tell the story.

This isn’t necessarily easy for me and I know that for many of you, writing about your issues or struggles can be extremely difficult. While sometimes it can help one feel better, it can also bring about feelings and emotions that can be difficult to deal with. However, as many of you know, writing about your experiences, can be very beneficial to both…

Exciting Reminder!

Hey everybody! This is just a reminder that in addition to my book, Rest in Piece, currently being available for purchase on Amazon.com, I am also working on a short story collection! I’m very excited for this project and have only one more story to complete. Then I will begin the editing process and hopefully soon after that, the book will be available for purchase!

The short stories will be a mixture of both fantasy and horror – two genres that I really enjoy writing and reading. While Rest in Piece leaned more towards young adult (though adults can certainly enjoy it as well), these stories are more appropriate for a slightly older audience.

I’d like to thank all those who have supported my writing and continue to do so! This is a very exciting time for me and I can’t wait to share this new collection with you once it’s finished! Please look for more updates as the weeks pass!

Also, don’t forget that if you’ve purchased my book, Rest in Piece, or will receive a copy (either the e-book or paperback) by April 28th, you can submit a photo of your copy displayed creatively to the Rest in Piece Photo Contest that I’m throwing! If you don’t feel comfortable being in the picture, that’s fine, you just have to display the book creatively for a chance to win! I wish all the participants the best of luck!

Thank You,

B.W. Ginsburg

Photo Challenges – Day 8 and Day 6

Today’s challenge for the March Photo A Day Challenge is to take a picture of a dream. I didn’t know if it meant a literal dream or something we want to do in life. Since I have a good memory when it comes to my dreams, I could take a picture of something related to one of them, but I decided instead to take a picture of my future career goal. So, I decided to take a picture illustrating my dream job!

As you can see, I edited this picture a little. I took off a book jacket and in paint, put a random title and my name on the book. Why? You guessed it! My dream job is to be a professional writer!

While it may sound nerdy to some, for day 6 of the 7 Photos for 7 Days Challenge, I took a picture of 7 of my favorite pens I own! Three of them are Cross pens!

Today, for the 7 Photos for 7 Days Photo Challenge, I nominate Rae from Bookmark Chronicles!
