Hey everyone! Just want to let you know that while I have changed the look of my blog, it still has the same posts and information as always! I think the new look is fitting since, while anxiety and mental health issues can make life a bit prickly, with hard work and faith in ourselves, life can be quite beautiful as well.
I hope you enjoy the new look of my blog and have a great day!
Okay, I have some pretty exciting news! I have officially reached over 1,000 followers on here! So many of you are such amazing friends and have continued to be utterly supportive throughout the years. I cannot thank you enough! I originally started this blog when my therapist and dad both told me that writing about my anxiety might help me feel better, along with help others to realize that they are not alone in their struggles. Just thinking that I could have made a difference means the world to me and the fact that so many of you have been here for me is truly inspirational and appreciated!
I know that I haven’t been on here as much as I used to be, and for that, I’m sorry. I intend to check in on you guys more often because so many of you have been here for me when I’ve needed someone to talk to. I wish I could express in words what that’s meant to me, but I don’t think that I can. Please just trust me when I say that your friendship and loving comments have truly made a difference.
I hope you all know that if you ever need to talk, I’m here for you. I hope you also know that even if it feels like you’re alone in dealing with your struggles, you’re not. There will always be people that will care about you and love you, and if you look carefully, you will find someone that you can trust and share your feelings and experiences with.
I also want to tell you this – you can get through your struggles and over your obstacles! If you work hard on a consistent basis and never give up, you will succeed. You may not get through your challenges overnight, but if you put in the effort to make progress, it will happen! I know that sometimes it may feel otherwise, I know there are times when I still wonder if I’ll ever get through my anxiety. I have to remember though that I have made progress, because you know what? I have!
So again, thank you to everyone who follows my blog! Thank you to all of the wonderful people I have met on here and to those of you who have been such amazing friends! Thanks for the incredibly kind and supportive comments and for reminding me that I am not alone in my journey of getting through anxiety!
Hey guys! I’ve just updated my other blog, Rest in Piece Blog, to get ready for the upcoming release of my new short story collection! The changes aren’t big, but in order to get ready to write about more than just one book, I had to make some minor adjustments.
I am very much looking forward to sharing my new collection with you! I’m not quite sure when it will be published, but it should be fairly soon! There will be five short stories in all and they will be a mixture of fantasy and horror.
I would like to thank those of you who have continued to support me in countless ways. Your friendship and readership both mean the world to me! If you have any questions about my new short story collection, please feel free to let me know!
Hey friends! Great news! I just finished the first round of editing my short stories for my new collection that I hope to publish sometime soon. Now all that needs to be done is the following:
1.) One more round of editing – A family member of mine who gives me constructive criticism is currently in the process of going over the stories for a final time!
2.) Cover Design– My mom will again be helping me with the cover. I’m very excited to see how it comes out!
3.) Formatting – Before publishing, I will make sure that all the formatting is correct. Line and paragraph spacing, inserting the author’s note and dedication page, creating the table of contents, etc.
4.) Publishing – I plan on publishing my short story collection on Kindle Direct Publishing!
Hey everyone! As I recently mentioned, I am currently in the editing process of working on my short story collection that I hope to publish in the near future. In addition to editing, I am re-writing a story that I wrote some years back. I am very excited to share this news with you. Now, there will probably be about five or six short stories included in the collection rather than just the original four. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to read my updates and support me in my writing adventure.
Hi everyone! The paperback of my novel, Rest in Piece, is now on sale for only $12.99! If you like fantasy, horror, and stories about heroins and family, then you’ll love Rest in Piece! To check out the book, feel free to click here! Thanks!
Hey everybody! This is just a reminder that in addition to my book, Rest in Piece, currently being available for purchase on Amazon.com, I am also working on a short story collection! I’m very excited for this project and have only one more story to complete. Then I will begin the editing process and hopefully soon after that, the book will be available for purchase!
The short stories will be a mixture of both fantasy and horror – two genres that I really enjoy writing and reading. While Rest in Piece leaned more towards young adult (though adults can certainly enjoy it as well), these stories are more appropriate for a slightly older audience.
I’d like to thank all those who have supported my writing and continue to do so! This is a very exciting time for me and I can’t wait to share this new collection with you once it’s finished! Please look for more updates as the weeks pass!
Also, don’t forget that if you’ve purchased my book, Rest in Piece, or will receive a copy (either the e-book or paperback) by April 28th, you can submit a photo of your copy displayed creatively to the Rest in Piece Photo Contest that I’m throwing! If you don’t feel comfortable being in the picture, that’s fine, you just have to display the book creatively for a chance to win! I wish all the participants the best of luck!
Hey everyone! Just so you know, there has been an update to the Rest in Piece Book Photo Contest for anyone who’d like to participate. In addition to being able to send your pictures to my email (if you already have it), through the contact sections of my blogs if possible, or by posting them on your own blogs and letting me know that you’re participating, you can also now participate by posting your picture on your Instagram page! You can then let me know either by commenting on my Instagram page or on my blogs to let me know that you’re participating and have posted your picture for the contest. I hope that giving you this option will make it easier to participate if you so choose. I look forward to seeing your pictures and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me via commenting on my blogs, the contact forms on my blogs, or on Instagram. If I’ve given you my email, you can also email me any questions. Thank You!
