I just saw Guardians of the Galaxy the other day and instantly fell in love with Baby Groot! I loved him dancing to Jackson 5’s I Want You Back. Too cute! So, without further ado, here’s my drawing of him! For more of my drawings, feel free to click here! Thanks!

Jen’s Questions:
Why did you begin writing/blogging?
It was suggested to me that I do so by my dad and therapist. They thought it would help me with my anxiety. I wanted to help both myself and others.
What is your favorite pass time?
Writing! I love watching TV as well.
What is your favorite school memory?
Wow, this one is hard! Maybe when I came up with an idea in my Creative Writing class? My teacher thought it was awesome and I had an article in the school newsletter written up on it! I also got to go to New York City in high school, which was pretty awesome!
Do you have a best friend or multiple best friends?
I have a few really good friends
What is your favorite daydream?
That I’m a bestselling author!
What is your worst nightmare?
That I never overcome my anxiety
How many countries have you traveled to?
None
What is your dream destination?
Italy
What is your favorite book & why?
Dead Lines by Greg Bear! It’s a great horror story!
Who is your favorite person in your life?
My dad!
Are you where you want to be in life?
No. I’ve made some huge accomplishments in my life (graduating college, getting a degree, publishing a book), but there’s so many more things I want to do.
I’m breaking a rule and just nominating a few blogs. Sorry!
So after participating in yesterday’s tag, What Would That Villain Read?, I’ve decided to create a tag of my own. I can’t say for sure though that no one has ever done a tag like this before since I’ve seen a lot of them and know that there are a lot out there. Anyway, here are the rules:
The Rules:
1.) Choose 5 or more characters from a book, show, or movie
2.) For each character, pick at least one song you think they’d listen to and try to explain your reason for picking that song
3.) Tag whoever you want
4.) HAVE FUN!
My Characters:
1.) Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl….All American Girl by Train
Blair from Gossip Girl (and many other characters from the show, such as Serena) think that they’re ‘all that and a bag of chips’ and just wake up looking perfect. This song definitely relates to them and I can see them liking it for that reason. It is a great song, by the way!

2.) Crowley from Supernatural…Aint No Rest for the Wicked by Cage the Elephant
Aint No Rest for the Wicked is a great song and I think Crowley would LOVE it! Think about it: he lives on fear and deception and finds it super fun!

3.) Dean Winchester from Supernatural…American Pie by Don Mclean
I definitely think Dean would love this song. It talks about serious issues, drinking, and cars! Dean loves his Impala!

4.) Marty Mcfly from Back to the Future…I Want a New Drug by Huey Lewis and the News
Maybe it’s because a couple of his songs are already in the movie, but I think Huey Lewis and the News’s I Want a New Drug would be a song Marty from Back to the Future would like. It just seems like his kind of music!

5.) Willa from The Finder…Pirate on the Run by Pat Monahan
I really liked Willa from The Finder. All she wants to be is independent and free, though she also wants to be respected. She’s tough and strong. I think she would like the song Pirate on the Run because of her love of independence and her gypsy ways.

6.) Maya from the book Fool Me Once…Bitch by Meredith Brooks
Maybe she wouldn’t like to admit it, but I think Bitch by Meredith Brooks describes Maya from Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once in many ways. There’s a lot to Maya’s character.
Once again, I’d like to wish everyone who celebrates, a Happy Halloween! Have a great, safe holiday! To all of you who don’t celebrate, have a great last day of October! Stay safe and enjoy the day!
For today’s challenge, it’s scariest monster time!
I’m going to have to go with Sirens from Supernatural! WARNING: Scary images ahead!
So I know that this is more of a scary movie parody, but my favorite scary movie that’s in black in white is Young Frankenstein! The movie is so…freakin’…funny! I love it!
For favorite alien movie, I’m going to choose Starman. I don’t really think of him as an ‘alien’, but I guess he is since he comes from another planet! The movie has great actors (Jeff Bridges, Karen Allen) and is such a sweet movie! It also shows how typical humans are when it comes to treating others who we don’t know poorly. I love the relationship though between Jenny and Starman! I won’t give any details away, but I love the scene with the deer!
Today’s challenge is favorite scream queen. To be honest, I don’t really have one. However, I do like a few actresses that are considered scream queens (I just haven’t seen the movies that they’re considered scream queens for, if that makes sense). Here are some actresses that I like that have been called scream queens.
1.) Kate Beckinsale – I did see Kate Beckinsale in Van Helsing, but didn’t see her in Underworld. I’ve also seen her in non-horror/horror based movies like Serendipity and really like her!
Google Images
2.) Katie Cassidy – I’ve seen Katie Cassidy as Ruby in Supernatural, Laurel Lance in Arrow (along with Laurel Lance in The Flash in a couple of episodes and Legends of Tomorrow in an episode) and really liked her. I especially loved her as Ruby in Supernatural! She was actually pretty freakin’ awesome!
For favorite funny – scary TV show, I’m picking a show that’s not really scary at all, but just plain hilarious. It’s a spoof on scary stuff though, so I think it counts! And the winner is…The Munsters!

I’m not 100% sure this counts, but I’m going to pick the legend of Hellhounds! As many of you know, I watch and love the show Supernatural and think the concept of Hellhounds (while scary) is pretty cool!

I had a favorite monster in mind, but then I realized it’s more of the scariest monster which is a prompt for later on in the challenge. Therefore, since I’m not quite sure what my favorite monster is, I’m going to go with a monster that I thought looked really cool! Djinns from Supernatural!
