Hey everybody! As you may or may not know, I am running a reader opportunity in which, if you purchase one or both of my books between January 4, 2018 and February 4, 2018 and show me proof of purchase via receipt, you will be entered for a chance to name the villain in my next novel!
If you have Instagram, please visit my page at b.w.ginsburg48 and send me a DM with your receipt, showing me that you have purchased one of my books within the time frame shown above. As I understand privacy protection, all you need to show me on your receipt is the name of book(s) purchased, your name (can be just your first name if you wish) and the date the book(s) was purchased.
Just so that you are aware, I have recently made my Instagram private for safety reasons. However, you should still be…
Hey everyone! I just finished creating a new quiz on Goodreads! Now you can test your knowledge of the characters found in my short story collection, Abstract Clarity! To take the quiz, click the link below! Good luck!
So after participating in yesterday’s tag, What Would That Villain Read?, I’ve decided to create a tag of my own. I can’t say for sure though that no one has ever done a tag like this before since I’ve seen a lot of them and know that there are a lot out there. Anyway, here are the rules:
1.) Choose 5 or more characters from a book, show, or movie
2.) For each character, pick at least one song you think they’d listen to and try to explain your reason for picking that song
3.) Tag whoever you want
4.) HAVE FUN!
1.) Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl….All American Girl by Train
Blair from Gossip Girl (and many other characters from the show, such as Serena) think that they’re ‘all that and a bag of chips’ and just wake up looking perfect. This song definitely relates to them and I can see them liking it for that reason. It is a great song, by the way!
2.) Crowley from Supernatural…Aint No Rest for the Wicked by Cage the Elephant
Aint No Rest for the Wicked is a great song and I think Crowley would LOVE it! Think about it: he lives on fear and deception and finds it super fun!
3.) Dean Winchester from Supernatural…American Pie by Don Mclean
I definitely think Dean would love this song. It talks about serious issues, drinking, and cars! Dean loves his Impala!
4.) Marty Mcfly from Back to the Future…I Want a New Drug by Huey Lewis and the News
Maybe it’s because a couple of his songs are already in the movie, but I think Huey Lewis and the News’s I Want a New Drug would be a song Marty from Back to the Future would like. It just seems like his kind of music!
5.) Willa from The Finder…Pirate on the Run by Pat Monahan
I really liked Willa from The Finder. All she wants to be is independent and free, though she also wants to be respected. She’s tough and strong. I think she would like the song Pirate on the Run because of her love of independence and her gypsy ways.
6.) Maya from the book Fool Me Once…Bitch by Meredith Brooks
Maybe she wouldn’t like to admit it, but I think Bitch by Meredith Brooks describes Maya from Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once in many ways. There’s a lot to Maya’s character.
What if you were only twelve years old and the fate of hundreds of lost souls rested in your hands? What if you found out that you could safe someone who disappeared years ago, leaving her family missing her every day of their lives? What if you had felt the need to take on this huge responsibility, even if you knew that those around you might doubt that everything going on was really happening? Would you step up and do everything you could to do what you knew was right? How would you take on this enormous task? Would you walk away or would you do everything in your power to help those who counted on you to be saved?
This and so much more is what Louise Erikson, protagonist of my new published story, Rest in Piece, has to deal with. If you’d like to purchase a copy, feel…
Happy October, everybody! Welcome to day one of the October Photo Challenge! Today’s challenge is favorite scary movie. While technically called a ‘mini-series’, I consider it a movie. I choose Storm of the Century! A great, scary movie with great actors!
So I first saw this challenge on the blog, Cluttered Stories, and decided that I would participate! While the characters I’m picking don’t fully describe me, they do at times!
1.) Joey Potter (Dawson’s Creek) – Joey is kind, sensitive, and smart! She’s also extremely down to earth and sarcastic at times!
2.) Lorelai Gilmore and Rory Gilmore (Gilmore Girls) – I kind of like to think that I’m like Lorelai and Rory combined. I think I have a lot of the same traits that they both do (smart, sarcastic at times, and kind). They also like to joke around a lot which I love! I also love movies like they do!
3.) Rachel Green (Friends) – While I’m not totally like Rachel, I think I relate to her in a few ways. For one, I love how excited she gets over stuff, even if it’s not things that are a big deal. Also, she’s boy crazy which I can kind of relate to and she gets so excited over cute guys! She’s also sarcastic at times and I’m a firm believer in not cheating on who you’re with, which she clearly also agrees with!
There are literally tons of shows that I feel ended way too soon. It seems like networks have a big thing for ending really good shows these days and keeping on ones that aren’t so good. I’m not saying it happens with every show, but it happens a lot! I’m going to list a couple of shows that I wish lasted longer than they did!
Thieves – The show didn’t last long at all and it was on a long time ago, but I remember loving it!
Joey – Joey was another show that I thought was really good (and funny!) and it didn’t last very long. What the heck?!
Lois and Clark – This show lasted a long time, but I feel that it was so good that they could have kept going with it!
