How often do you cry?

I’m not sure exactly how often I cry, but it’s more often than I’d like. I think since I started really struggling with anxiety, I’m a more sensitive person and while in some ways I think that’s a good thing (I think I’ve learned to care for others more, etc.), in other ways it truly sucks. Sometimes I feel like I take things too personally or I end up crying a lot when I’m really struggling with anxiety. However, I’ve learned that there’s nothing wrong with crying and that sometimes it needs to be done and can prove quite helpful in that it releases the tension.

  1. for some years now, i have trouble crying. even when i feel the need to. i’m a high sensitive person so i care a lot about the people around me, and i suffer with them. sometimes everyone around me is crying and i don’t shed any tear, or just one or two and i feel like crap because of that. because i want them to know i feel like them and i can’t. maybe this happens because i used to cry a lot, and i was also very emotional in my pregnancy and cried about everything. but almost two years from then, that changed. that hurts.

    i hope both of us can find our balance. 😉

  2. I’m a highly sensitive person! I cry often, and it doesn’t take much to make me cry, all I have to do is listen to the news! With all of the police brutality, killing of blacks, numerous other hate crimes…I hate it! I also cry at TV shows & movies…I get so emotionally attached to characters, and people in general. It’s not a bad thing, but sometimes I have to take a step back for my own sanity!
