Progress Update

So I know I haven’t written my own post in a couple of days. I’ve been finding a lot of great posts on other blogs and I felt the need to share them. Anyway, I’ve been exercising and facing some of my fears on a consistent basis and I’ve definitely seen some improvement!

I know that sometimes it can be difficult to practice consistently. Sometimes we feel lazy, tired, or we just feel under the weather. However, it’s really important that we stay on track and that we continue to do what helps us!

Yesterday I had a brief moment when I didn’t feel like practicing. Then I remembered how I’ve been doing a little better and how I don’t want to return to how I was previously. This reminded me how much exercising and practicing helps with making progress and I continued to do so.

I know that I’ve been doing better in some areas because I’ve been practicing and exercising more. If you’re doing well with facing your fears and you feel like you don’t want to keep at it, remember the benefits of never giving up and remember what it feels like to go back to when you weren’t feeling as well. You can get through your anxiety! You just have to keep facing your fears and practicing!

  1. Great job B! Happy for you ☺️. Reading this reminds me of when my mother inlaw asked me what she should do if she gets nervous to do something and ends up not doing it. I told her the moment you feel you won’t do it, MAKE yourself do it! It’s not a simply task but it’s oh so rewarding.

  2. Even though for most every step is a small step, for someone with a mental illness what may seem like a small step to some is a HUGE step for us. Just keep making those steps….:)

      1. Yes, things are going well now. I just keep pushing myself (which is not always a good thing…lol). I am glad to hear that things are getting better for you as well.

  3. Bravo! 😀 Never give up! I love how you are giving yourself credit for your progress. No matter how big or small it;s so important that we recognize improvement in any capacity 🙂 I recently faced some massive fears of my own and it;s paying off. It’s liberating when you face fear and tell it to take a hike! Sending lots of good vibes your way! Thanks for sharing 😀 ❤
