The sooner you step away from your comfort zone

So I know I’ve been reblogging a lot of posts lately, but I find that I can relate to this a lot. Dealing with anxiety, my fears often hold me back from doing what I want to do. It may seem comfortable not doing these things because doing them causes me to be anxious, but in reality I’m emotionally not comfortable because I wish I could do the things I want to do.

When we step out of our comfort zones and practice facing our fears, we will see ourselves making progress. Then, hopefully, we can learn to get through our anxiety and we can do the things that we’ve wanted to, but haven’t due to anxiety!

  1. This is so true. This is why I push myself to step outside my comfort zone. My therapist said its just how I am. That in order for me to try new things, I need to feel anxious and then it pushes me to do it. That there is nothing wrong with it. It was pretty interesting hearing that bc I hate that I feel so anxious before doing something but she said that’s ok because then the accomplished feeling I get afterward is rewarding. So yes! Push yourself harder. Try new things. You’ll realize in the end just how strong you can really be ☺️.
